Extra Credit: Midterm Update

After discussing our initial project idea with the professor, our group decided to change our technology to a posture correcting back pack aimed towards a wider user range. The initial project was a modular phone attachment that would turn a smartphone into a mouse. We were still unsure about the exact implementation of the mouse i.e whether or not the interface would be pure hardware or a mix of hardware and software from the phone itself. Furthermore, we failed to identify a specific salient identity that would be the target of our technology. Ergonomics was brought up in the conversation in deciding which way to push our idea forward. We finally decided to settle with a posture bag that would serve the younger population and provide a stylish and healthy choice for a carry on bag. We hope to make this a successful project in the coming phases.
